Caljan Rite-Hite appoints new Factory Manager
Henrik S. Lund has recently been appointed to the position of Factory Manager at Caljan Rite-Hite's production facilities in Denmark, where one of his prime tasks will be implementing demand flow manufacturing.
"During recent years our business grew to such an extent that we had to expand our production. Moving part of our production to Latvia in 2006 allowed us to continue our expansion program. Implementing demand flow manufacturing in Denmark will enable us to increase capacity even further, without compromising on delivery times" says Managing Director Henrik Olesen.
Prior to joining Caljan Rite-Hite, Henrik S. Lund was responsible for establishing Carnode International Limited in Hong Kong. Carnode was partly owned by Guldmann and produces home care and hospital equipment. His experience with international project management and demand flow manufacturing will stand him in good stead at Caljan Rite-Hite.
Henrik S. Lund looks forward to playing a major role in sustaining Caljan Rite-Hite's level of success. "Although Caljan Rite-Hite's production capacity has increased steadily during recent years, if we are to retain our position as leading manufacturer of loading and unloading equipment, we must improve our flexibility and readiness to handle orders in the way they come." Henrik continues; "Each phase of manufacturing is a supplier/customer relationship that has to function optimally, with no room for none value adding processes."
Henrik S. Lund (48 years) holds a Master of Science in mechanical engineering, two Diplomas in Business administration, one in Strategy, Organization & Leadership and one in International Sales & Marketing Management, which makes him well qualified to manage our operations in Denmark and in Latvia ensuring synergies with production in Denver, USA. |
