Established in Aarhus, Denmark in 1963 Caljan Rite-Hite develops, manufactures and markets equipment for safe and ergonomic handling of goods in the loading/unloading zone and as part of intralogistic systems in distribution centres, airports and warehouses.
The Caljan Rite-Hite organisation comprises approx. 350 empowered and engaged employees spread throughout Europe, Asia and America. Our head office is located in Denmark and we have production facilities in Denmark, Latvia, China and USA. Other parts of the globe are served by authorised distributors.
Originally the compay's name was Caljan - a contraction of the names of the two engineers who founded the company: Kaj Calundan and Svend Jansen. In 2001 the Rite-Hite Group bought Caljan and Caljan's name became Caljan Rite-Hite. The Rite-Hite Group remains a family-owned business.
