Caljan Rite-Hite Ltd has acquired AMH Services Ltd, creating a truly 24/7 UK wide company, combining the quality products of Caljan Rite-Hite with the value-adding philosophy and focus of AMH Services. The new company is now in a unique position to provide complete solutions throughout the Logistics 'Value-Chain'.
Spencer Roberts (previously Managing Director of AMH), will head up the new company, that will retain the name Caljan Rite-Hite, and comments “As a combined force we are in a stronger position to support our customers with Design, Installation, Project Management and Service, utilising the Caljan Rite-Hite product range, enabling them to achieve consistency, improve Health & Safety and productivity whilst reducing their costs.
For Caljan Rite-Hite, the acquisition means a significant step in the overall growth strategy that identified the need for a service infrastructure providing coverage in all regions of the UK, with a 24/7, 2-hour response time. Operations Director, Mark Baugh, says “Finding a national service provider within our industry that had all of the technical skills to cover our broad product range was a tough ask. I am delighted to say that AMH not only have the technical skill-sets that are required, but that they can also lift the exposure of our complete product range through the development of their excellent relationships with customers in the UK and Ireland.”
Customer satisfaction remains the key driver, therefore, it will be business as usual as the two companies are merged into a single team throughout the first half of 2011, during which time the Nottingham operation will move into the Milton Keynes premises of AMH.
