Rugged LED light increases personal safety at the dock interface

Giving 50,000 hours of light, Caljan Rite-Hite’s energy-efficient HD-LED Dock light illuminates the entire trailer, providing a safer and more productive work environment than traditional incandescent lights. The beam spread creates a balanced level of brightness inside the trailer from top to bottom, side to side, and front to back.

Lumen maintenance is a key factor when choosing an LED light. Unlike their traditional counterparts that simply stop working, LEDs fade with time providing less and less light. Inferior models may fade to as little as 20% lumen output shortly after installation, creating a potentially hazardous situation in the tough loading dock environment. In keeping with our quest for safer products, the Rite-Lite has been designed to provide 70% lumen output for its minimum lifespan of 50,000 hours. In addition to being brighter, operating on just 15 watts, the Rite-Lite is 90% more efficient than standard incandescent light designs providing a very short return on investment.

Placed typically beside the door protruding into the trailer, trailer lights are often directly in the path of fork-lift trucks making them vulnerable to damage. The rugged die-cast aluminium housing of the Rite-Lite is able to withstand frequent knocks. The two-part assembly allows users to replace traditional heads using incandescent bulbs and retrofit an LED head. Needless to say, little maintenance is required.

We’re so confident of the supreme quality, we provide a 5-year warranty on the dock light head.
