Registering parcel data means fair pricing

Caljan CurveTrack at Frankfurt airport
More than 95% of all parcels passing through DHL Freight in Stockholm are registered, measured, weighed and labelled automatically. Registering parcel data in this way means that DHL is able to invoice customers fairly. The system is able to register data for 2,500 parcels hourly, whilst simultaneously applying a label.
This solution is evidence of the technical synergies that emerged when LogComp became part of the Caljan Rite-Hite group in 2008.

Caljan Rite-Hite’s curve conveyor, CurveTrack, is a vital component in the 70 km conveyor system at Frankfurt airport in Germany. Handling 40 million pieces of baggage annually, the system must be operative as close to 20/7/365 as possible, so it is imperative that all components are reliable and service-friendly.

Exhibiting at FachPack has become something of a tradition for our labelling division; LogComp. At this years' show you will be able to see how quickly Caljan LabelTrack can apply labels to parcels wizzing along the belt. Each parcel is identified, the label is printed and data is cross-checked before the label is placed on the parcel.
